Project Overview

This project is a key component of Gawler Council’s Community Plan and Town Centre Design Framework for creating an efficient and safer transport, traffic, and pedestrian network in the main street of Gawler, South Australia. It involved significant upgrades to footpaths & road pavement in the city-centre, including three major intersections, Gawler Bridge strengthening & upgrade (over South Para River), pedestrian crossing facilities, on-road dedicated cycling lanes, raised landscaped medians, new line marking and signage, new LED street lighting, new stormwater drainage, and landscaping.
