Project Overview

The Project involved constructing a 3.2 hectare wetland at the southern end of the Park Lands (Victoria Park) to manage flooding in the Park Lands Creek and provide flood mitigation for downstream residential areas. The wetland includes an extensive pathway network and look-out locations that allow exploration and viewing of the wetland from different vantage points. The Project delivers a range of benefits including improving water quality, enhancing the biodiversity and ecology of the area, and creating amenity for park users.
