The stormwater upgrade project in Southern Park Lands (Blue Gum / Kurangga Park 20) involves realignment of the existing creek lines to provide flood mitigation to residential areas downstream through controlling flows to be discharged under Greenhill Road and construction of a flood containment mound. The project involves extensive earthworks and construction of new open stormwater channels, installation of culverts to connect the existing and new stormwater infrastructure, new asphalt shared pathways, rehabilitation of the Park Lands Creek to support River Red Gum tree health and extensive landscaping.
