The project involved the design and construction of 20km of new multi-lane road (next to the existing road), bridges, interchanges, drainage & earthworks, intelligent transport systems, shared-use pathways, and noise walls. Located on the southern fringe of Adelaide and a major transport corridor to and from the Adelaide CBD, this project is renowned for its significance in size and complexity, being in a highly built-up commercial and community environment, and significant traffic movements both along and across the expressway.
